Pack 310- DODGERS GAME!

Hello Pack 310 Families,

Hope the summer's been fun. It's that time again for a Dodger's game. Group tickets have gone slightly up this year yet the Pack will be subsidizing part of the cost.

Each ticket will be $20 (for immediate family members; extended family will be $24/ticket)

What- Dodgers vs. N.Y. Mets

When - August 23rd at 6:10pm

Where - Section 6 (off the 1st base line)

DEADLINE for ticket payment is AUGUST 7th -- after that, tickets will be purchased the next day and cannot be purchased after this date.

HOW TO PAY - Many ways! -- although ALL CHECKS payable to "Pack 310" or cash.

July 4 Event- Message from Verdugo Hills Council

Hello Pack 310,

We are sharing this information with our families:

This Friday July 4th, before you go enjoy the red, white and blue of the fourth, join at the Verdugo Hills Council Office as we rally in support of Roy Wiegand. Roy, a scouter from VHC, is running to raise money for the children's cancer nonprofit Michael Hoefflin Foundation.  He is also running in honor of our Scout, 12 year old Christopher Wilke who recently passed away. 

We are gathering at the VHC office to show our support for a great man, doing a great thing, Roy will be running from Angels Stadium to the Santa Clarita Valley. We expect him at the VHC Office some time between 11:00 and 1:00. 

I know I have spread the word to several scoutmasters and I hope we can have a big scouting turn out for Roy and Christopher.  We need Scouts to wave flags and encourage Roy.  Glendale and Pasadena fire and police will be joining in, everyone is encouraged to ride or run with Roy for part of the trip.

We will have burgers and dogs while we gather and wait to cheer Roy on!  We will also be collecting donations for MHF.  Roy is hoping to raise at least $48,000.00 on this trip.

So I am calling all families, friends, Scouters, Scouts, everyone to come join us starting at 11:00 am July 4th at the office. 

Start your 4th of July celebration with this rally and then on to your other activities.

Please come in uniform!
